Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Data Visualization Lab Presents: Women in Education Research and Data Careers Panel
March 26th, 2024
This panel, in celebration of Women’s History Month, explores the who, why, what, and how of women in data and research. In this discussion, we discuss our origins and identities as women in research; why the representations of women in data careers matter; what our research entails and how our perspectives have evolved on our journeys with data; and how the education industry works for, against, or indifferently towards the progress of professional women. We close with a discussion of the ways that the industry may work to better support young women entering the field of education data.
In this edition of the URCC Graduate Spotlight, we highlight the research and mentoring contributions of Zora Haque, a Research Associate at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management and a graduate student in the Heller School’s Master of Public Policy Program.
